Whats the difference between using a Tagadab VPS compared to a BA VPS. Is the BA rack located inside BF? Im on a in play speed mission.

Would a dedicated server be quicker than a VPS?
Thanks

If you can give us less than a week we have a major announcement to make on the vps's.

Sounds very interesting...

Running on a server offers so many benefits over running locally... but I guess the price difference adds up, although for anyone serious I think the advantages of having an optimized server version of Bet Angel should yield far more ROI than saving a few pounds a month on doing it oneself.

Not to mention the time savings of not having to setup and manage ones own server.

I do think Bet Angel could do a better job of explaining the advantages of the custom server version... perhaps it is just speed. But a few examples would probably help most users how much value this provides...

OK so it took a little longer but the site is ready now.

www.sportingservers.com

We've been working hard last year with a Irish based provider who has located us about as close to Betfair as you can get. We've worked with them to create a custom solution from the configuration of the server, to the actual routing and all other details from bottom up.

So this is about as good as it gets from that side of things. Enjoy!

Hi Guys

I already have a VPS through Betangel, will I be migrated over to this new service or if I wanted to use it do I need to cancel my Betangel VPS and sign up through the new site? The Betangel website is still showing the old pricing plans and doesn't appear to mention the new sports trader website.

Many thanks

It's up to you if you want to migrate. We will be writing to existing customers soon, we only just have this site fully up and running.

Sounds cool.

I would like to know the pricing of the package - Betangel Server version on these new superfast servers.

Is this for access to Betfair via BetAngel software only or also any user written programs or a combination of the two?

It's predominately a VPS service, so once ordered you can do on it what you wish.

Thanks for the information.

I've sent an email to Sporting Servers asking which programming languages they would support. No answer, as of yet.

I noticed somewhere on the site that payment is through a golf equipment supply company, which I find a little odd.

Jack of all trades?
