Other courses have 5/6 runners on each race. Going to be a tough day!

Why do you prefer larger fields? The only thing I can think of personally is that the less runners the more likely the odds on the horse you're trading on will be more likely to react to other runners odds? I hear a lot of people prefering larger fields but personally I quite like them, at least from a scalping perspective as it seems to me you get more £ per runner

I'm finding it a little harder then normal but I generally do when there's only 2 meetings, money seems to be a bit more stable, as in less big movements. Better for scalping.

I guess everybody is slightly different. I am just better able to read larger fields, small ones are often too jumpy for me. That said I had a clean sweep today, not one loss. But I almost cocked up that two runner race, got away with that. Was a funny race to trade though.

There is a generic wider issue with smaller fields. The book % will always be lower so there is less money lost in the market and therefore less to go around. Not the sort of specific problem that you will 'feel', but true none the less.
