connection mode

hi all,
at the risk of feeling stupid i wonder if anyone knows
why i have no connection mode option on angel pro.

connection modes were a feature of the old api.

the new api is a different animal to the old with just the single mode.

it would be nice to have a non api mode as a back up for when the api goes tits up. any chance BA?
