Question to Support/Anyone please:
Ive only recently started to play around with the automation in Guardian and one thing that drives me mad is updating the rules..
If, for example, you have a similar rule replicated to cover 20 horses ie 20 Rules within a single file (eg back/Fill/Kill 1.0 Sec) and you want to change the whole set of rules to 0.5 Fill/Kill..can you change all 20 rules with some form of Mass Update simultaneously? Ie Select all rules in some way and just change the setting once? Is this already possible in some way?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Peter

Off topic slightly, but did you find automation quicker than excel or something Peter? I remember you were asking and in the past you have always been an excel fan because of the amount of stuff you can put into excel.
I stopped using Excel for automation, as I found multiple sheets too sticky
BA automation is great, but having a mass update would be definitely useful. The biggest frustration for me though is staking - I can't understand why there's no option to allow dutching or bookmaking

What I found Steve was that you could two betangel instances open one with Excel and one with Guardian Automation both programmed to do exactly the same. At the end of the day both accounts my be profitable but they were different in terms of profit. One one day Guardian was up and on another excel was up.steven1976 wrote:Off topic slightly, but did you find automation quicker than excel or something Peter? I just want to explore further really..maybe the best option may be a combination of both?
Again off topic, but I have found the latency in excel is what make some of my strategies profitable. When I programmed an identical algorithm using python it was firing in way too many bets.
But I agree, being able to apply the same rules to all runners is definitely needed.
