This is an extension to Peter's Greyhound bot with a few tweaks. would be great if i could get more opinions and testing from you guys.
I have tested this in practice mode and all seems fine. Let me know if you find this useful or indeed if you think it is complete rubbish! all criticism considered. Thanks. Tom

You haven't exactly sold it to me!

£6.87 loss from £10 stakes is shit

That needs some attention for sure!

How long would this work for if it was posted that it worked?

Maybe Letiss is trying to hide something :o

if you set the global figure to 83 and 30, you could try on the greyhounds currently running.

I haven't looked at spreadsheet but very hard to overcome the spread difference in greyhounds.

yes you are correct, first decent response so far, also it is very hard to guage the "off" time as greyhounds always go early, That is why you need a larger lead out time than for horses, which is where the number 83 comes in. if you look at my other excel sheets for the premier league and championship, you see i don't do things at half measure.

I think reverse market prices are best for high spread markets, just recently discovered this option. Might help?

only greyhound races shown on sky will provide a "reasonable" amount of liquidity to barely make the effort of trading worthwhile.

couple of years ago they were very useful for testing excel sheets, getting used to new features etc with minimal stakes, as there are so many of them but, now with practice mode they are less useful than american horse races for that purpose.

in my opinion (which is usually overblown) if you have something better to do, even if its only cutting your toe nails, you would be better off doing that.

trading greyhounds is dull and tiresome

It is boring if you trade it manually, but if you can set something up that trades in the back ground, you can get on with your day. Now that you can run as many BA instances as you wish (<1000TX/Hour)
This is a simple BOT that just makes 20p a race...60 races a day = £4K a year before commission etc (needs a bit of fine tuning when I get chance!)

http://youtu.be/cx0drujaH9Y

Uses a combination of Excel and Guardian to green at >0.2p..
Sorry for poor video (my screen recorded software is slowing my sys down too much, so did it from iphone)..

That's one of the poorest quality videos I've seen Peter

It doesn't show enough of the market to even allow us to have a guess at what triggers the trades

20p per market is a nice earner accumulative though

Yep it is crap quality!
I just wanted to show some of the new guys that you dont have to make £10 race..it all adds up over time..
Just uses book percentages etc..very simple stuff
Also there are lot of bots out there that try and trick other bots..so newbies need to set strict parameters etc..
Other BOTS will fire in a seed bet to trigger yours and then take your bet..
The downside is that if you create a bot that is cast iron, ie minimum risk, it will never place a bet!
Good fun trying..
regards
Peter

PS, there is a guy on another forum who makes a good few hundred pounds a day on Greyhounds (he is from one of the poorer countries in Europe I think, so you can imagine?)
