API stopped working completely. Here we go again.

Still here. Built a new PC Saturday night following hard drive failure.

But then since Friday very patchy Internet leading to no internet (and no phone line today). Every time it rains the service degrades. We've been told one week for the repair of phone line.

So for me it's checking in on the vps via the iPad and 4g, easy to set up, load markets and apply "aggression" (name of my racing automation series - six different ones to choose from depending on the race). No manual trades for me on the vps. Ten minutes and I'm done for the day.

I feel a bit self conscious saying this because I understand the api has played up but the bots had a good day Saturday just sub $1k overall for the day and today the bots got $271. I remain very consistent and generate approx $2k per week pre pc.

Again I am sorry to hear the api has been sticky.

I had a problem with my internet and phone line, and it also got worse when it rained. It turns out water was getting to the wire and it took them 8 weeks to realise

Lets hope it doesn't take that long with you

But even in our new house the internet goes from [78] on the BA counter to about [550] now and again. I've lived in rural England and the internet is 10x better.

Haha they always cheer me up - even though they never seem to win. The first race had 5 out of the 7 owned by the same person as well, all came 3rd to last

API taking 5 clicks to get a bet in the market - I feel like such a whinger but its just so annoying.

I'm having issues also.

Throwing up occasional API errors in the log and taking forever to kill bets.

I'm just asking what is this new API doing that the old one couldn't? IMO it just seems to be 100x more unreliable.

It's a total nightmare today. All over the place. Was hoping to trade the cricket but just can't trust it.

Any chance of this ever being fixed do you reckon?

Do us a favour guys, when there is a problem post exactly what it is and when you saw it.

Betfair always ask us these questions so we need to be armed as much as possible.
