It's the classic corporate lifecycle. Large companies with dominant market positions always seem to follow the same path. Betfair can be read like a book. But management will only act when it's too late IMHO. But the current team will probably be long gone by then.

On the plus side, at least we can isolate it as a capacity issue. It's been fine on everything other than the big race.

Yes that is a plus - but I'm sure Betfair will think its something entirely different and demand a holiday in the Bahamas to figure it out

My results have perked up since the outage so I wonder if a few people have dropped out since then?

Same for me - people dropped out after the outage yesterday so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
