And just in case anyone thinks nothing goes wrong for that gazuty

Horse Racing / Asct (AUS) 14th Mar : R1 1200m Hcap 14-Mar-15 16:00 14-Mar-15 16:02 -138.30

It's just that in the long run I win a lot more than I lose. That was an all red race due to being too aggressive.

Excellent work Gaz :D

The API came back for me about 1 minute before they jumped and it was all over the place.

Just read that last post - poor Gaz

I'm not feeling sorry for you anymore

I'm heading to Rosehill next week for the Slipper so won't be in the markets (not that you'll notice me anyway).

I didn't do the racing today. Do you have an exact time and description of what happened?

It occurred about 1-2 mins before Ipswich (3.13pm) where it would take 5 clicks on the ladder to finally get a bet in the market. Then about 30 secs to the end of the race it was running at about [2000] on the counter and was impossible to trade.

The midweek markets are dumb.

I laid Overtake in the last at Seymour after it went to the barriers fiercely. The price then moved in four ticks. The horse duly over raced and finished last.

Dumb bots i'm guessing.

Yes. Most of the money in the markets are by people not paying attention to the race. If a horse is vet checked on a midweek (apart from Wed) it will only drift slightly, if at all. But those horses going to the gates fiercely won't even be picked up on a Saturday IMO. Well spotted but the punters unfortunately didn't shy away - I had a few back bets waiting as well :?

There is no way anyone watching would have wanted to be on.

It was tearing to the barriers at speed with the jock high in the irons trying to restrain it.

Could be an opportunity to let more go in play.

#2 in the last at Ararat got vet checked and was a well backed $5JF. However, the horse didn't move despite the vet check and ran unplaced.
