And as I don't believe in God that leaves a fairly large void in the knowledge bank!!

Perhaps there should be less concentration on "features" such as live tennis scores (which appear to be an indulgence) until traders are able to use BA - and BF - with confidence.

ETC ETC ETC............

You boys in Oz don't have a clue really!Seriously! You are all making good money( by the look of things) whilst cracking open the tins over the barbecue ! Yet you choose to vent your spleen in a public forum ! Go and use an other software then...........that Geeks toy looks the bollocks,no? The reason you all use Betangel is because you know it is the best ,period! In no way am i attached to betangel in any shape or form ,get that ...but the features that have been introduced over the last 6 months are to be commended .

With all the shit that is going on in the world let alone individuals /family health issues,do you not think at times you should take a step back and be thankful for what you have?

If any of you are ever travelling past/near Scotland let me know and i will make sure you are well looked after ,at the same time opening your eyes to the bigger picture!

Anyways ,look i'm not having a go at anybody ,just seems some people are very quick to rubbish Betangel.Nobody is twisting your arm .

G'day from sunny Scotland!

I was in no way blaming the software for yesterdays fiasco.

I'm fully aware it's a Betfair issue and encourage everyone to follow Peter's advice in regards to emailing them.

Just sent this to
[email protected]
"Please advise what is going on with the Australian API.

Yesterday it was at its worst ever with nil responsiveness to ‘calls to betfair when retrieving bets’. This continued for around an hour of the afternoon.
I use BetAngel but I understand the same is experienced by all other vendors.

It would be unusual to go for a week without serious issues with the API sticking and not responding and this has been the case all this year.

What is Betfair doing to rectify these continued issues?
Please answer in terms of cause identification, resources devoted to the problem, method of solution and expected time to resolution.

This is a disgraceful way to treat your customers and I am sure would not be tolerated in a larger market such as the UK."

Encourage others to do the same and continue to do so.
In between kicking back content in the knowledge that we have better bbq weather than Scotland.

At very least, they could offer a market on "What time of the day will the API crash"..... I will be punting the 2-3pm option

Wow! I was just cracking open a tin at the barbeque when I found out I don't have a clue...
Fortunately I'm making good money (by the look of things).

Anyone else reckon there was something dodgy about the last race at Port Mac?

There was huge money coming in to lay favourite Spinnaker Blu in the last minute or so.

Then the jock takes it straight to the front, running the finish out of it completely, before sitting meek and mild as the rest of the field rushes past it two furlongs before the finish.

As Matt Chapman would say "Someone's had it right off....." :-)

Didn't look to bad to me and Thompson is one of the best riders in Australia never mind on the country circuit. It was a backmarkers day though so perhaps that's why the lay money came...

It came off the bit very early, didn't look like it was handling the track to my eye. I layed it nearing the 600 for that reason, wasn't the only horse there today to "whack away" up the straight.

Well it's official, although deep down I've known for some time. My unemotional automations are way better than emotional human gazuty. I totally messed up the BMW, which got me angry, which then messed up the next few races as anger boiled over.

I turned the PC off, went out into a beautiful afternoon and let the bots run on the vps and build a recovery.

Randwick "Championships" postponed to Monday.

Kembla Grange also abandoned.

It is very wet in Sydney this morning.
