Is it me?
I have a spreadsheet that generates a lay bet with offset and greening (with fill or kill in place). However, very occasionally, the lay bet is taken and does not generate the offset back bet. I use it when trading in-play. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there something in my set up that could cause this? It happens often enough that I can't leave my spreadsheet unattended, which is my ultimate goal.
OK, I've got a log from the 14.40 at Wolverhampton. I've included the whole thing for completeness; but the relevant bet is 48338644958 of £5.24 on Lashkaal at 14:42:06 towards the end. At 14:42:09 this shown as being killed in its entirety. After the log I've included an extract from my Betfair statement which shows that ...4958 was in fact matched.

Linus - Are you saying that if you request a size reduction by amount X, and you receive a BET_TAKEN_OR_LAPSED error the amount matched equals X - cancelReport.sizeCancelled?
I've never looked at it that way, but seems obvious now
Even spoke to bdp about this, asking them if they could include a matchedAmount in the CancelReport because otherwise you would have to wait for a new market book coming in. Funny thing is they said they would consider it. If you're right it was there all along. This would simplify things a lot!
