I don't get why they let such a huge amount of markets be tradable if they were so concerned with TC. 50 markets is almost every NSW meeting during the week. Strange how it has taken them so long to change it considering we are "costing them so much".Wildly wrote:They said they were calling many others as well and adopting a different approach to the previous where up to 50 markets a week had been ok.
Australian racing
I pay PC and they still don't let me trade TC markets. Obviously something is going on with Gaz and Betfair, but as I said before, my trading has improved as it has allowed me spend more time on other markets so I'm not too bothered.

They're getting really lax sticking up the arkets these days too, the greyhound markets and a few race meeting rarely get put up before midnight these days. Maybe they're whittling down on staff.

True. Best to do an 11 am market load up.

Can anybody please let me know why NSW/WA provincial harness don't go in-play? I know SA has only recently changed it's tune, is there any whisper that things may change? Thanks in advance

SA jumps yes, VIC jumps no... All Metro Harness yes.... All provincial harness, except NSW and WA.
Which seems bizzare to me, as they are generally all the same horses, just down the road an hour or two

I only like laying leadersNaffman wrote:They all have the same amount of coverage so its not like they don't have vision - so there must be a reason we're not aware of. You must like backing leaders like I do

I think it's to do with turnover charge, but not 100%. I remember reading somewhere that they have a license to turn greyhound races in-play, now that would be fun!
That would be amazingThe dog of ry wrote:I remember reading somewhere that they have a license to turn greyhound races in-play, now that would be fun!

Can you imagine the advantages of being on track if that happened! There are still loads of opportunities for in-play traders/bettors in this country especially in harness racing - unlike the UK where every man and his dog are trying to get 1 millisecond ahead of the next guy.
