Hi,

Does using Bet Angel (or other software) allow you to reduce/remove the in-play delay on football/NBA/tennis? I am assuming not but have recently been told this is the case.

I don't think so. Betfair set delays on it's side. Best that software provides in this case is 200ms refresh rate, but BF API isn't so smooth sometimes recently.
What you can try is offset betting (even with Fill or Kill option it should work faster than placing opposite bets manually, because it fires bet right after your first bet was matched).

No delay on nba with pinnacle not sure what befair do as I don't trade it.

I think this could be possibly related to a maintenance but I can't prove this yet.
