Don't forget, of the £78K, £50K of that was his own stake.
He only won about £28K

He could, but the moment £100k was matched in 1 hit......people would have moaned that BF are trading their own markets

It just shows that sometimes these massive spikes are just crazy punters

I don't see how he could've. The Sportsbook doesn't take commission so to get more he would've had to have got matched at 1.61 or more - not really a huge amount as it didn't go too far above that, and I'm sure he's not the type of guy who spends all day in front of the computer :)

All your posts are telling me you don't pay commission on Betfair Peter ;) I'm not trying to complain as you have done so much for traders but it's a suspicion I have.

That would be the most remarkable thing to happen since life spontaneously came into existence a few billions years ago.

If anything I suffer from much poorer treatment from them compared to your average or new user. It's a significant bone of contention I have with them.

My apologies for coming to the wrong conclusion Peter ;)

I'm quite surprised you haven't been given preferential treatment though, given the amount of new users you attract thus indirectly adding lots of liquidity. Betfair certainly are a strange one that's for sure.

I think some people get no commission as I have seen cross markets being arbed which wouldn't draw a profit unless they are on no commission.

£50k bet on the sportsbook?

I don't believe it.

They don't have that sort of liability on all horse racing markets combine on a Saturday!

This is classic example of gambling. If he continues betting like this he will end up with nothing.
