In fact all the pre-off money and bots were still active till 10 minutes after the end of the race. I managed to get quite a bit matched just in case but Betfair voided all bets after the official jump - 140K was matched "in-play" compared to 60K pre-off :o
I happened to check in just at the right/wrong time and look at that race. I wondered what was happening and figured it hadn't been switched in play.

But also, I think they voided all bets set for sp.

Interesting to note the first flat race at Warrnambool was dominated by horses racing near the fence.

If the track follows the same pattern of recent years it should play that way all day. Swoopers favored later in the carnival

The only caveat is the track is not as wet as previous years.

Ok, that theory might have been put to bed.

Huge win Shakudo, wide and from a mile back.

That was the best win I have seen in a long time. Drawn Barrier 18, raced 5-8 wide the whole way and beat them by 5 eased down. Weir is a dodgy stable as well so it was interesting as to how they couldn't stop backing it in the last 30 secs.

My new way of doing the form at The Bool -

Scroll through field until you see D Weir
Back it
Count money
Smirk when they all test positive in 3 months time

The track has turned out to be a swoopers delight.

Got on Ovahead in running for a k but swallowed up late. Hit 1.12 as well.

It seems to be that one horse in each race is getting cobalt as the winning margins so far have been huge!

Betfair doesn't seem to be working now. I think they need a break after listening to Rick McIntosh's calls all day

A different strategy from Eulers laying strategy.

Anyone associated with Nikolic should be far away from horses. It would also be interesting to know how much she got matched as $260,000 is a hell of a lot for a Sunday at Echuca.

Someone else I would like to see an investigation on is D Weir, "the nice bloke". I tell you what, you know if they are going to run a good race or a poor one before the race has even been run.

I've had rick on mute for the whole carnival.

On the subject of underhanded behaviour.

I was extremely disappointed to find out Scone trainer Luke Griffith was found guilty of juicing some of his horses with the party drug ICE.

Having worked with Luke a number of years ago, I followed his progress keenly when he took out his license.

Needless to say , when the money went on they usually ran well.

Australian wallet outage for last 2 hours. Unable to bet on any Aus markets or transfer funds between wallets. Betfair issue. Expect resolution in 90 minutes. Read that as 'hope' rather than 'expect'. First on Grand Annual day at Warrnambool just happens to be a few minutes after that.

Still not working, 6 minutes till the 1st. Main wallet markets appear to be working fine though.
