Hi Ste
It should have cancelled bets after the off...the thing is; it looks like it didn't go in play according to my log!
Total exposure would have been <100..but doesn't instill confidence in me to let this go all day without watching it..
Im on the road all day tomorrow so think ill leave this off :D
The winner won by just a head too, could have been a nice bonus if id had one more match!
regards
Peter

really? It didn't seem to do from the log? the guardian should have cancelled the bets at the suspension (and then as a safeguard it greens 5 secs in play, neither triggered) . Also have excel connected that only kicks in in play, that didn't trigger any bets ?
Aw well if nothing else it's given me an idea for a new strategy!

21/04/2015 20:04:30: Market changed to Wolv 21st Apr - 20:05 5f Hcap
21/04/2015 20:06:07: Market has been suspended
21/04/2015 20:06:08: Market is in-play
21/04/2015 20:06:08: Market has been unsuspended
I have data recorded from my own software so must be a local problem, looking at the data it seems as though it was very volatile in-play.

A busy old today! 6 meetings
Good luck if you are trading them all; I'm on auto all day, and painting the fence! (probably on auto too) :(

From 2009 to this morning and only taking winners that match at 1000 for a liability of over £100 it is once every 238.54 races.

excellent, thanks
Does this mean on those 238 races, at least £100 was matched at 1000/1 in play ?

No matched = 100/(1000-1), so at least 10p has been matched which on betfair equates to a volume of 20p.

I would have thought those figures are somewhat out of date now and may not be very representative of current times. When Cross Matching was introduced there was a period where getting matched at 1000.0 was quite common place. That is not the case now and as such I think your figures will be skewed.
