Total at what point in the season does the average increase?

I have been following the over 2.5 goals market and i have noticed the prices for overs has decreased a fair bit.
At what point is the normal for this to happen ie X remaining games?

I'd imagine it's fixture dependant. As side with nothing to play for arrive at the end of the season there is more chance it will be a lower scoring match.

He said the price was decreasing which means there is a greater probability of overs....
