Had to close the markets and reopen it several times as it stopped updating.

Not a local internet issue.
Are you using Bet Angel?

Yes it was happening on Bet Angel. I tried other software as well and experienced the same issue.

Not had it since so hopefully just a glitch.

Epsom trading really well again on Betdaq for me today. Getting just as much filled on there as on betfair, some races getting more.

Really good on Betdaq today. On days like this it feels like something is changing over there. Even in the last few weeks/months things seemed to have picked up, particularly on a Saturday. Someone has been throwing around some big money "bomber style." The last at Epsom they were trying to get around 8Kmatched backing what turned out to be the winner.

Could be Ladbrokes hedging into the market?

It was an excellent day on Betdaq

Could be, but you would hope Labrokes' trading team would have a slightly better understanding of weight of money. They have been around in a few other races too. The money was significant enough that the Betfair market started following Betdaq which is something you don't see every day.

Biggest volume race today on Betdaq was at Epsom and was 29.59% of Betfair total, significant.

Telling fibs there was one of 38%, but also one of 8.31%! I don't see any particular pattern at the moment. Maybe in a month or so.

Today is one of the best days I have seen on BD if not the best, away from the big meetings.

Scalping is working very well as is swing.

I thought Betdaq has traded really well so far today too. Fill rate has been good, getting plenty matched.

Will be interesting to see how the volume figures match up today. York seemed particularly strong again.

Really looking forward to Ascot now.

After a week of monitoring volume in detail it seems around 60% of markets are 15% of BF volume or higher. Around 25% are 20% or higher. Will take a real detailed look during Ascot.

It will be interesting to see if those figures grow over time. It feels like volumes are on the rise. Though there are still plenty of markets that are pretty much dead.
