Hey there...
Having read through most (or what feels like "all" and is is probably "all") the posts on the "Excel" topic (related to Bet Angel) my question is thus (and it is pretty "simple").
What IS the actual raw data that is utilised in the BetFair> BetAngel> Excel flow ?
as in...
Current Price, Total Market Volume, Individual Selection Volume, Time (although not actual "time", more the market "being pre off" and the market "In-Play), WoM, Lay money available, Back money available
Before you answer... I am aware of what the "functions", "calculations", "rules" etc etc which may be "calculated" using Excel/VB.
I am only interested in knowing "what is the actual raw data that is available".
Kind Regards in advance.
Excel "raw" data
Bump !
As no one seems to know...and as starting point for anyone who cares to have a stab at this, here is an example
On Volume.
Total Market Volume is available....but Individual Volume isn't.
Is this statement true ?
On one hand it is said that....
"So, total volume matched is available by runner. But this is a total of back and lay".

And on the other hand, it was said when asked.....
Is it possible to somehow grab the information for traded volume at the current back and lay prices of a runner and link them in to Excel ?"
The answer was
"No. Currently this data is not available to Excel".

So which is the correct answer ?
Basically, I'm trying to find out "what raw data is available from BetAngel which can be used in Excel", but I'm not sure if there is an answer to this query.

Both answers are correct.
The total volume matched for each selection is available.
The total volume matched at a particular price for a particular selection is not available.
So, as a made up example...
If a horse has £10,000 matched at each and every price from 4.1 to 4.9 inclusive and has no traded volume outside of these prices then in Excel you will be able to see that this particular runner has a total volume matched of £90,000.
But you will not be able to see that it has £10,000 matched at each price, nor can you see what has been matched at the current back or lay prices.

@Tanden
Thanks for the clarification.
In essence therefore, the answer is "Yes...BUT with an additional "back office" calculation and utilising an additional piece of "real time" information".
It is that "additional layer" I was trying to remove by using "raw data", IF that "raw data" was available (via BetAngel)... which it isn't.
NOTE
Although the call is available (soap action "GMTVC (exchange)"
