Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Here's the in play scenario I am working on...

I have setup an automation rule to place a back bet if the price is coming in by a certain amount...

then if the price moves out and the Green Up position is in the red - then I want to trade out for a loss.

But I don't want Bet Angel to 'Red up' until a few seconds after the back bet is placed -

the idea being to give the price a few seconds to come in and then green up for a smaller

loss/bigger profit.

Sometimes the back bet gets placed and then immediately the price goes out (triggering

my red up/ trade out rule) only for the price to come in again a few seconds later which would put the trade in a positive position.

I want to be able to ensure there is a delay after the back bet is placed.

Is this possible?

I suggest setting up two "close trade on profit" rules.

Set the first one for the profit you want and set the second for the profit.

There is no reliable way to set a time for the lowest loss, that is simply caused by market volatility. So if you ask Bet Angel to wait the price could get worse and then a few more seconds later it gets better. You will have to look at the strategy and ensure it is based on sound principles using lots of testing.

You can try an offset bet with a trailing stop loss but they are not always reliable in play.

Hi
Firstly i dont use automated myself so if this is what your looking for use small stakes or practice but if i was attempting it this is how i would do it.

Have your initial back bet and your offset (profit) set but have NO stop loss assisnged at this point.
then create a 2nd part for the rule "close trade on all selections" NO parameters but with the conditions set as "Fill or kill bet time condition" and set the desired time from the drop down boxes.

For example "greater than 10 seconds" what that should do is once your opening bet is fired if it has not greened up for a profit within 10 seconds using your initial offset rule then a lay bet will then be put into the markets to close all sections at best price - loss or even possible profit.

As said i have not tried this myself so please check and make sure it works fully before using with full stakes.

Regards
Andy
