Is it just me, or has the price been whipsawing all over the place?

Time after time, I'd secure a nice profit, and then out of nowhere a spike would appear and put me in the red!

last 3 races some anoying spikes, occuring in the last 3 minutes. no damage done but reduced profit in all 3 for me.
such is life.
