Not taking the stakes I enter?

We were all new to Bet Angel once. Ask any question you like here and fellow forum members promise not to laugh. Betfair trading made simple.

Hi all, Just downloaded Bet Angel for Betdaq and am trying to learn more about trading.

As I am testing I have adjusted my stakes to 1p. Every time I place a back or lay bet I am always getting matched at the next whole number and cannot figure out why. For Example if I place a Lay bet of 2.4 and then a back bet of 2.6 both are getting matched at 3 therefore making my P/L for that trade 0

I've tried this multiple times on many different races, I'm sure it's something very simple but as a newbie I am struggling. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
