Free money....
Ever heard of the saying if it looks to good to be true it probably is. There was a stewards enquiry so had the result been changed you would have lost.
I made that error many moons ago. Saw the race finish and still it was open, I couldn't get enough on thinking it was free money. Luckily it turned out okay but never again did I think I know more than the market!

the runners crossed the line and the market was not suspended. I was watching the live video on betfair. After a 10 sec or so the winner has been announced. The market was still in play. And in about 3-5sec it moved to 1.01.andyfuller wrote:Free money....

After the winner was announced I managed to lay the loser at around 7. Few secconds later it was at hundreds. I would count that as free money.
And it keep beeing inplay for a minute or so. I even manage to post on todays racing thread while market was still inplay:

There was a photo finish and a stewards enquiry. Hence the market remaining open. It is not often a result is changed but there is usually a good reason why the odds of something look too good to be true, the result can still work out okay for the person taking those odds regardless.

Wolfed my dinner down at a farcical speed so i could be ready for the argentinian football. Typical.
Wta Bucharest was today(and whole week long) controlled by a trader, from BF headquarters. Absolutely outrage, how unfair seeding the bets on markets have become. Im very active on Betfair, but unfairness is still there. They are placing bets without any delay(who would bother go to Bucharest, have courtsider there, paying for trip, hotel - its past, nowadays they cheat us straight away from their headquarters,)- its us against them. Its certainly not p2p.
