Seen that happen someone placed 20K on the lay side then either self matched as you say for laundering or had it taken by a big gamber, if it was the later it was a manipulation attempt gone wrong as the lay was placed a few ticks below trading price so clearly was nt a genuine layer wanting to be matched by someone else

it's clearly self matching but what is the reason for that.
the chance of 2 big gamblers to meet in a market with the same stake one on back and the other on lay side is very slim.

Had a back bet in the morning on this one at 4's, took loss at 6's, watched it drift to 17+ and then win :D

How can public misjudge horses ability THAT much?

In terms of those looking for "value" this must be opportunity

what surprises me with these type of moves is that there doesnt seem to be any retracement before the off
