I'm new to betfair and bet angel and have a question regarding laying.
On the one click screen, it shows the back and lay odds and stake (eg. £2). If I click on the back odds it will place a 2 pound back bet. What happens when I click on the lay side? Does that mean a £2 liability or 2 pound return?

Yes it is, first click on the blue cog - so there is NO red cross through it (this enables global settings - which are all the options at the top of the screen).
Untick the "All" boxes at the top of the Back and Lay stakes.
Now in to the global setting at the top furthest to the right where it has auto stake select liability from the drop down enter the liabilty you want and tick the auto update box just below.
You should see all the lay stakes change to different amounts depending on the odds of that selection
