I have found many excellent betangel videos on how to utilize excell sheets and see from the forumn here there are a lot of very good templates free out there but I am interested in building my own and understanding the process. Is there a comrehensive website/guide either on this site or another site that explains the process.

I am specifically interested in where the code is located that stipulates where the two betfair spread sheets, that come with betangel, should pull their data from. Clearly its coming from the betfair data stream/website. However I can't see any hyperlinks or code in the cells to indicate how this is achieved. I wanted to start wit this code and reverse engineer it to pull other data in order to get a better understanding of how to setup my own data capture.

Cheers for reading

I think you will find the spreadsheet is linked to betangel rather than betfair and it looks as though betangel is reading and writing to it directly. I doubt Betangel would be greatly happy with you trying to play with their code.
The bulk of the data you are likly to want can be shown if required, the BA user manual tells you how.
If you want something that isn't available from BA then I think you will need to bypass BA and use BF API directly. I have seen spreadsheets around that do that but in effect you will be building your own betangel which isn't a 5 minute job. Probably be better using a visual programming language such as C#

I dont really want to mess with code id break stuff I was just thinking if you capture odds data from markets it would be nice to overlay the data with events that effect the odds such as goals in a football match or breaks in a tennis match. betangels soccer mystic and tennis trader are excellent for predicting the odds but id still like to be abel to capture live data and scan it for trends. I know betfair has this data and assume theres a way to pull it but betangel doesnt seem to (its not on the templates at any rate) so I figured id teach my self how to. If thats going to involve C# then probably not happening but if I can figure out how to do it with visual basic then Ill let you know how I get on.

A ha, I really only look at the horses so I am not that aufait with the tennis & footy but I am pretty sure I have read somewhere in the past there is an option to enable live scores in a spreadsheet.Possibly using the mystic bit. I am pressy sure that Excel cannot pull data from BA as such, BA has to be set up to give it so if it isn't already doing so I would look at every option you can find on BA and mystic to find this (and any other options)
