Always known him as Ralph Beckett, I think it was Chapman on ATR continuously calling him Rayph/Rayf today. I was wondering what the general consensus on the forum is:
A) Ralph
B) Rayph/Rayf
C) Don't care, Chapman's just an arsehole anyway
D) We need a separate section for polls Peter!

he is spelt ralph on his website (http://www.rbeckett.com), and there is nothing to indicate its pronounced in a noddy way ie, accent marks as in french etc.

so reckon it should be and is ralph.

billy hills have been refering to him as rafe not ralph.

i stand corrected as it seems there are several variants of how your pronounce ralph and it would also seem to be dependant on what class/background/tradition you come from, as to how you pronounce it.
