But it made sure I would never vote for a Labour government. The 70's were such dire times. They had such an impact on me and my family. It wasn't the fact it happened and what the causes were, it was just the fact they never learn from it. Ideology trumped the needs of the populace as it will continue to do for most politicians.

I lost money on that one, i thought there were powers that be and dark forces behind the scenes that could stop things like that happening, think ive been watching too many episodes of the thick of it!
Be interesting to see how he copes now he has some actual responsibility, rather than hiding on the back benches and rebelling. And how he handles the pressure of the media scrutiny that he is now going to come under.His policies all look pie in the sky to me, idealistic, and impossible to make work in the real world.
I hope he never gets anywhere near power, and would be amazed if he did, like most i reckon he will be gone within a year or so. Corbynmania will just be another craze, i cant see it lasting 5 years.
