Downloading betting history from Betfair
I'm trialling a new strategy and wish to download results to a spreadsheet for further analysis. Now that I can no longer get the old Betfair site, I've discovered that the format for Betting History has changed, which means that it is less easy to extract details such as country, distance of race, SP bet etc. I suspect it's a forlorn hope, but does anyone know of away of downloading betting history under the old format?
I still seem to have access to the old site?

Though I did see the new site, but it changed shortly afterwards. It could be there are two links on the site to different locations?

Thanks a lot Peter. The link works for me. I agree with you lewisj. The whole point of being able to download to a spreadsheet is to be able to perform further analysis. Ideally each major variable should have a separate column to facilitate this. Betfair seem to give design jobs like this to people who have no idea how the end product is used. I've sent an email off to the helpdesk, but I'm not holding my breath!
Don't waste your time with the helpdesk, use [email protected]
Thanks goodnesss for this forum.
Tried to download history today - function not there.
Rang Betfair help - unhelpful. I asked why would they decommission something that was useful. A literal failure to engage in the conversion. I knew it was a pejorative question and I was very very polite in the manner in which I asked and signed off the call.
In any case found it through the link posted by Euler.
It always is strange to me when businesses do not respond to what customers request, need or want. Customers are the only reason any business exists.
