Twist Magic planted himself at Punchestpwn earlier this week - they literally had to drag him to the start! Many punters were stung by that one! :?

Well for this race he was odds on when they opened the market on Betfair and a few pounds from layers means he's now odds against. I would say he is likely to repeat his antics again tomorrow so will there be anything done by the authorities to protect the public? :?:

Mind you, if they declare him a non-runner because he plants himself again, it means only 7 runners so each way punters with the bookies will also be screwed!

.....lights blue touch paper and retires to a safe distance

Well from a form point of view, he may not win even if he does consent to race. I am not sure this fast ground will suit him :?:

2 minutes before the off, 'Twist magic' not budging, 'Oh Crick' shortening, I went for a 10 tick gainer with a back on 'Oh Crick' and keep in play...

Horses are not machines and they are just like humans. They can only train so much and they can only run so often. This horse was clearly over the top and his recalcitrance at Punchestown confirms that. Apparently this horse has shown similar behaviour at home before but wait for the comments from connections...I'll have a small wager it will something along the lines of "we thought, he seemed, but that's racing"...followed by "we'll put him away now and hope he returns better next year"
