How much do Betangel users own Betfair? I'v been thinking about this for sometime, for starters Peter webb how much in percentage terms does he add to any market he's in? From the amounts of money he puts through a market and how much he earns he must be offering at least 5% of the whole market and maybe more!
Then i look at the number of members that in Betangel, i can't put a number on how much they add to any market but it must be a big amount, what i'm trying to say is that they don't appear to care to much about what we say and i get a feeling even what Peter says , why is that?

It's abit like a terrorist with some hostages, the police do not negotiate with hostages. That's the theory anyway.marko236 wrote:How much do Betangel users own Betfair? Unless you have them by the balls, they will do what they want.
I am guessing your reason is because of PC? If so, even if every bet angel user decide to appose and move elsewhere to another competitor, there would still be a handfull of people that would stay. There would be less traders and more gamblers.
The only way possible to get them to listen, is to have them by the balls. Potentially, betangel user could do that, but it would have to take a massive campaign and a set up.
This post may not even be to do with PC, also I'm certainly not a PC member yet either.
Whatever you have in mind or want, they won't listen to you or listen to anyone.
When their profits are seriously effected then they may re think.
Whatever the reason it's a no win situation.
They are under no obligation to give you an account and if you did something you would be closed anyway.
Exchanges and bookmakers are the same principle. I for sure, when I get anywhere near it will adapt to betdaq.
Betfaq owned by Ladbrokes is actually even more worrying, when they finally do take over and be the number 1 exchange. I think people will find that they turn out to be even worse.

I guess ultimately betfair dont feel they owe any of us anything as where not going anywhere. We can all moan and complain about them but at the end of everyday we all still contribute to there balance sheet and until the day there is a sudden mass migration and that balance sheet starts to really nose dive i cant see anything significant changing.
PC is a prime example, everyone could of jumped ship then but they did nt, if thats not a reason to leave there customer care and service is nt going to lose them to many customers.
We are all flies!! - betfair's a UV light and betdaq's a energy saving bulb

what if the market sweepers on tennis court or football games happily pay 40% premium charges and have agreements with betfair, what if the market makers have also agreements but still making sustainable money for them self. What if betangel users are the minority turnover for betfair..
So many questions but I think, so far Betfair have been right and probably making decisions based on some strong factors.
P.S. I also think that sometimes I hate betfair
