TESTING for BETFAIR Outage in Advanced Automation???

I'm hoping all you clever ladies and gents / Bet Angel Support can answer a question regarding Guardian Advanced Automation.

I have a ruleset that I am fairly confident will produce a profit after a long period of testing.

BUT the one thing that scares me silly about leaving it running unattended is Betfair crashing.

The solution for me would be using the 'Play Sound' rule but when a condition is met that implies the market has frozen.

I was thinking along the lines of the 'historic relative odds' condition whereby if there was a similar option for the 'VOLUME ON MARKET', that might solve the problem. I.e. I set a warning sound file to play when condition is MARKET VOLUME NOW is < MARKET VOLUME 30 secs ago + £100

If my logic is right the market should definitely have increased by over £100 in a 30 secs window (I would be running the sound check rule from around 5 - 6 mins to the OFF).

This feature does not exist right now but I was wondering whether any of you have found an alternative way to test for this?

The reason this will work for me is that I work from home, so I could leave the automation script running on my trading computer with the volume turned up high and if the alert is sounded take appropriate action to limit the potential loses.
