Derby was better but the rest of the card has felt a bit tepid

I got over excited. Pushed too far and had a mare.

Good thing this is one of my favourite songs ... http://youtu.be/DmbQx5u5i7w

Only £2.6m matched on the big race, I think that's the lowest I've seen for a while, certainly since 2008/9

Betfair's advertising here in Aus seems non-existant of late. Crownbet on the other hand, seems to be everywhere

Good point. Can't remember the last advert.

Competitions have dried up too.

Hoping tonight is a bit better than the first two days. I've had a look at historical records and the first two days were pretty sharply down on previous years.

There was a storm delay so it was almost impossible to do comparable last night. Betdaq is non existent. I check it out on the MC but it only did £47k and wasn't traceable.

I had a decent result Cup week. Thanks mainly to catching the Cup winner in running.

I found the more liquid Flemington markets difficult to trade. Much prefer the weaker markets, especially the trots. As with everything, it's all what you're used to.

Looking at the data properly and sanitising it for the late start's that occurred. Turnover on the MC carnival was down 45% on 2011. Above £5m lower on last year in sterling terms.
