excel templates

Discussion regarding the spreadsheet functionality of Bet Angel.

i have just started trying to use the excel functionality with a new PC.
i had to re-download the templates from the website and when i first open them, the data is showing up with £ prefix, which would be terrific if i was in the UK, but $ is my preferred currency.
I know and can change this through the normal formatting rules in excel, or i could ignore it (maybe), but there must be a global setup somewhere.

anybody point me in the right direction please?
