Hi, can anyone help me with this.. I'm running a program in Guardian and I need to automatically dutch the top 2 runners when certain conditions are met in play. Is there a way of doing this at all? Any comments gratefully received.. Many thanks..

No there is not a Dutching/Bookmaking facility in guardian, the closest option is via Book %
On the parameters page in the stake box use "Book %"

Many thanks for the reply Dallas. So if I wanted the winning potential for the either of the 2 top runners to be roughly £5 what would I set the book % at because I won't know what those current odds are?

If you are wanting to Dutch to a target profit it can only be done using the dutching tool.

The Guardian book % works similar to using Dutching with a stake of and would come out like this

If you used a £100 stake and selected the current price of 3 runners it would work out a equal profit for them all and a equal loss for the rest and stake accordingly so you may get something that looks like this

£35 if one of the three win
-£65 if any of the other win

Which is as close to dutching as you can currently get within guardian.
