Bookmaking on Correct Score Market

Hi

I use the Bookmaking facility within BA and utilise the “manual” option of offering prices across several horses. I ensure I implement the “TAKE SP” facility - so the bet will be placed irrespective of the SP . So far so good.

However the upshot is whilst "Take SP" works well for horse racings' "unmatched bets" it doesn't seem to operate at all on the Football CORRECT SCORE market the same way - despite the option being offered.

I have also tried to manually use the lower drop menu, but the options to do not implement.
(Btw “KEEP” does work as an alternative but is not what is needed)

Log Reports state:
i) An error occurred while updating bet persistence: The entire order has been rejected.
ii) Modify bet persistence 6027xxxxx from 'Cancel' to 'Take SP'

Is there some way of ensuring the TAKE SP option actually operates in the Correct Score market or do I accept the TAKE SP doesn’t function and has a bug perhaps ?

As far as I know, Betfair only currently offer SP betting on horse racing. They have said they'll support other sports in future, but I'm not sure this ever happened?

I don't see why they haven't implemented this for other sports to be honest. Seems like a good idea.

Perhaps someone else knows the reason or their plans for the future?

Betfair did implement this on Premier league games back at the begining of 2014 but i never used it so dont know if its something they still offer or if they ever expanded to other leagues.

Ah yes, good spot. On Premier League matches SP is available on the Match Odds market. Unfortunately not on the Correct Score market though.
