Could someone advise please the best way to get optimum speed reliability of connection. I have both wireless and cable and tend to have them both connected when trading live. I know that wireless can be unreliable and cable better...but am wondering whether having both connected does one confuse the other? (seems to work fine for me) however am wondering for efficiency if i should disconnect wireless when i have cable connected.
Any advice gratefully received.

There's no need to turn off your wireless, you can just sort out the priority order if you have more than one internet connection. It's explained nicely in this little guide below, it goes without saying that a wired connection is the better choice.

I find in normal trading that high speed wireless is prefectly adequate. For the other times and during any traumas shall we say , I like to have a cable/adsl backup to save the day. There is no pain as exquisite as getting locked out of an open trade. Good luck
