Was trying to set up a simple automation rule for laying the field, but there seems to be a few paths you can take...
I only want to lay any horse that gets down to 1.8, do you lay all selections or place a lay bet and then choose, select all horses? Do you then put a condition on that lay bet is only placed if price falls to below 1.8, advice please.
PS Dallas, the other rule is working nicely, testing going well.
Automation rule for laying the field
The easiest way is using the rule type "Lay all Selections" then just enter the odds and stake you want on the parameters page.
If you set it to trigger before the race goes in play you will also have to add a rule type "Keep unmatched Bets" - but the best way is to have it trigger after the event has gone in-play.
It will then put a lay bet on all selection for the amount and odds you specified and each will be matched if that selection trades down to that price or below.
Once the 2nd horse has been matched you have a guaranteed profit and each additional one keeps increasing that profit
Glad your other testing is going well.

I did reply to your direct message but it is sitting in my outbox (not my sentbox) and i cannot satisfy the exact reason- so at risk of repitition, i am very happy to send you the file. In your post you cited an example price of 1.8 so i will set it to that with min stakes. You will need to edit the rules file yourself to manipulate it to your preference. One point i wanted to clarify, are you looking to lay just the first selection to match your requirements or all selections to do so?
