There is a flag in the marketBook response, not provided by BetAngel:

https://api.developer.betfair.com/servi ... MarketBook

Its risky betting in markets inplay without xm as it normally means a non-runner hasn't been removed, as mentioned although I have a few strategies that only get involved if xm is off.

The current API sends the status of cross matching along with the price data, dunno if BA displays that.

Code: Select all

            [marketId] => 1.122638093
            [isMarketDataDelayed] =>
            [status] => OPEN
            [betDelay] => 0
            [bspReconciled] =>
            [complete] => 1
            [inplay] =>
            [numberOfWinners] => 1
            [numberOfRunners] => 15
            [numberOfActiveRunners] => 13
            [lastMatchTime] => 2016-01-17T13:20:37.494Z
            [totalMatched] => 835612.01
            [totalAvailable] => 275488.03
            [crossMatching] => 1
            [runnersVoidable] =>
            [version] => 1213785537
            [runners] => Array

Thanks Gents
Thats true, but its also the races where you can make big profits too and if you code it right, you can safeguard

It would be great if Betangel could capture this status (and into excel/gurdian automation)?

Pop it up on suggestions so it doesn't get lost. It would be easy to put it in, but we always have to do a bit more work to integrate it into other automated components.

Well when I looked at the racing this morning, I thought it was going to be a cr*p day, but it has turned out to be anything but (even United are winning!)

I edited my strategy and caught the 1.02 Loser (at 1.02) so job done today! :D
Hope you all made a few quid as well!

Hopefully it'll have been won by the very people they were trying to fleece. Probably some delayed ATR viewers unaware of the fact it'd gone nose down by the time they'd placed their bet.

Cant imagine there are too many regular track side punters at Leopardstown with it being an Irish track on ATR and on a Sunday.

Just realised one of my accounts got £2 matched at 1000 on a GBP account luckily, my first after 4 years of trading, what a day!
