I joined UPC a few weeks ago, the main reason I rejoined BetAngel.
It centres around picking front running horses, taking a back bet and then laying when the price drops.
Has anyone else had experience of this service?
It seems that although many horses do 'drop' in price, many others (especially those with bigger SPs) drift the other way....so need advice on what sop/loss limits to set.

When you are running your own business and also working as a carer for your aged parent, doing your own homework is not an option.

Using a paid service will very rarely lead to profit.
If you want to make money you need to find your own edge.

its amazing how many services there are on facebook ,internet etc,95% of them are total crap.but people pay 30-40-50 quid a month for,,maybe more, to people who dont have a clue what there on about.
take like that service for front runners,i pick my own front runners that trade short(and im very good at it) ,i can do it quickly now ,in the beginning it took me hours ,so i can understand how this man dont have time to do it ,with work and helping out parents.
but i believe that when these people get 30 subscriptions paid up front at 30 quid each is 900 bloody quid a month.
i dont think that there worried about the quality of info there passing on to there subscribers,
it just baffles me every day about these tipping services,i get loads of requests on that bloody facebook from people offering services ,my reply is a swift f^%K off.
now im not saying that ultimate profits club is a bad service,,ive never tried them ,or heard any bad reports about them,im just talking in general about the whole tipping service thing .

pretty much all my gambling friends are onto these for the football, they think it's the best thing since sliced bread yet none of them are making regular profits and it doesn't phase them. one of them is working his own guaranteed system that he backs the current winner or draw in the last few minutes at extremely low odds. this is going to pay for his mortgage apparently. I mention putting a bit of work in and using an exchange and i am apparently chatting shit and using fractional odds is alot better and less confusing than decimal odds and the exchange and knowing how a book is made up doesn't matter. i think with alot of people they want the instant profits without the work which just doesn't happen. i am in no way implying this to geoffrey as i know work and family commitments can leave little time, but i would say even setting aside an hour a night will get you there eventually and with better results. i've sunk alot into this the past few years and things have started really picking up the past 6 months, you've just got to believe that in the end it will all work out.convoysur-2 wrote:its amazing how many services there are on facebook ,internet etc,95% of them are total crap.but people pay 30-40-50 quid a month for,,maybe more, to people who dont have a clue what there on about.
People love a fast buck, it's just a shame one doesn't exist
I think it's spilled over into the trading game as well. Too many people who never have traded telling people how to trade and too many trading systems that just don't work. It must be very confusing for newbies.

it's the same mentality i think, some one offers to show you how to start making money quick without the 'boring bits' involved and people will throw cash at you without really looking into it. i've just had a look at one of the tipster pages on facebook and apparently one of their tipsters has had the sack for not producing the goods. here is the final part of the status - I can assure you that we will do our utmost to return FBT to the glory days of 5 days ago.Euler wrote:People love a fast buck, it's just a shame one doesn't exist

Personally I subscribe to the UPC and find him to be very good! Well worth £100 every three months IMO.
Today he sent out 8 selections;
one almost won from 12.5, touching a low of 1.2-ish
one of them won from 4.2
one won from 2.8
one won from 7.6
the next one did shorten from 10.19 to 8 but ultimately wasn't placed.
There were two outsiders (20.0+) in the later races that didn't come in.
And I didn't trade the last race but it started at 4.66 and came 2nd.
Don't get me wrong it is a skill, all he's doing is picking horses that like to be out front, you have to watch the race and make snap judgments, there is A LOT of skill involved, it's by no means a fast buck.
But the guy does his research for you and picks you front runners to trade and he's good at it, simple as that!
Positive mental attitude people, not everybody's a crook or a shyster! Many people I know are doing really well off football trading on Goal Profits, etc. Not my thing at all, hate when a goal goes in against you, but to deny that this can be profitable is to deny reality.

There are dedicated services you can sign up to, which accurately find a front runner using real stats: -

There has never been a truer word written on here. In any type of business, people claiming to be experts, it’s incredible.
As Peter says it’s all over trading now too, delusional people selling to desperate people equals bad news.

If you can mathematically prove that what they are selling will fail long term is there a chance you can sue them?
Its not hard to prove that it will fail so it only depends will it have support from the law. I have seen really many "trading" services that sell crap for a lot of money.

It's depressing really and the proliferation of services make it hard to people to see the truth. It makes our job just so much harder.DRED1 wrote:As Peter says it’s all over trading now too, delusional people selling to desperate people equals bad news.
Technically it's fraud so yes you can pursue the pushers.tiha_patnja wrote:If you can mathematically prove that what they are selling will fail long term is there a chance you can sue them?
However, I got to know the met vice and gaming squad and the prevailing view on the law side of things, is - 'it's gambling', if you are stupid enough to fall for a scheme that is clearly related to gambling that it is your fault for being so stupid. It's unlikely you would get a prosecution unless it was a serious fraud. I.e >£1m
