It's an interesting topic; the relationship between earlier and later races on the same card. Clearly if a trainer/jockey/owner wins the first 2 or 3 races, there will likely be an impact on the next 2 or 3 if they have runners. Euler blogged about Ryan Moore on a similar vein a while back.

But what about where favourites/outsiders have fared well/badly in the 1st 2 or 3 races? How do we best approach that angle?

For a trader, perhaps it's about considering who is stressed out about the current results and what is their anxiety about the possible outcome of future races? And to what extent? And what do they have to do to ameliorate their liabilities?

I'm already thinking about Willie Mullins at Cheltenham...

I'm really sorry how I've reacted the last few weeks.
This is not me, I've never had a fight in my life and I take back anything I've said.
Seriously wtf it's 3.00am and I can't sleep again.

Lol I can't believe what I have actually written on the forum. Such a idiot.

Scotty it would have been much better if you apologized a lot sooner, before you burned all the proverbial bridges.

The way I see it you should consider yourself very lucky to still be able to post on this forum, I mean what's a guy gotta do to get banned around here?!? You spammed like 20 messages in all caps telling everyone to go fuck themselves and straight up threatened people with physical harm. I would keep a low profile after that, instead of creating new threads to support your theories and arguing with everyone every chance you get. I personally found most of the drama pretty funny but I'm pretty sure others won't be as forgiving.

No problem, it's a betting forum, lots of us have to rely on our own strong opinions just to make a living so aren't going to agree. But you can't let what's basically banter affect you, I doubt anyone else is. I don't want to be responsible for anyone losing sleep, whether it's self inflicted or not, so ain't gonna get involved.

One thing I've learnt thru years of trading is tomorrow's another day, so regardless of whether I've had a shit, or good, days trading I always start the next day with a clean sheet. Life's too short to have people around you walking on eggshells much better take PeterLe's relaxing approach of an afternoon's pub lunch with his grandkids, than stressing over the past.

Your not responsible for lack of sleep. My behaviour has been because of lack of sleep and I am very sorry.

Check out the money being traded at Leopardstown at low odds pre-play, over 750k around 1.08!

Always gonna have people trying to buy money and others willing to risk laying a novice chaser at low odds too.

The ridiculous thing I thought was the place odds spread was 1.07/1.08 for a while with the win odds at 1.08/1.09. I was trying to back at 1.08 place/lay 1.08 win but didn't get matched in the end.

Right now everyone has made up can we PLEASE just get back to this forum being a trading forum. Hopefully everyone can draw a line under the recent posts and not feel the need to comment on them any more, I don't even like making this post about it but hopefully we have seen the end to it all!

So on that note, although the odds on the horse were very short it could still represent outstanding value. I am not saying it did or didn't in this case, I haven't even seen the result of the race, but it is important to remember that value can be found at any odds. So if the horse was a value back at such short odds I would expect people to be lumping on.

Funnily enought, I ran three accounts today, one with Chelmc in (but reduced stakes and asking for tighter conditions), the one with Chelmc did the best overall.
Maybe i should give Chelmc more of a a chance?
Regards
Peter
I was just thinking..the strategy with the tighter conditions had a clean sweep today, so I may just run it in its own right and see how it fairs over the next few days.

Someone has just pushed the drifting fav from 4.8 into 3.8 late, just putting in thousands every time.
