People have mentioned this issue before and I wonder whether anyone knows the solution.
I have set up a rule that kicks in as it should (ie submitting a set of back bets prior to the off) when I am sitting there. However, when I am not around it doesn't work - and worse - partially works. That is, if it is meant to submit 8 back bets, it submits a random, smaller, number. I have the rule to kick off in horse order and it always submits horse 1 and then a few of the others. Some times, 2 and 3, sometimes 3, 4 and 6 etc. I have checked my settings (I am on Windows 11) and the sleep settings are set to "Never" sleep and the screen is set to go off after 20 mins. How do others get around this issue? One potential one I was thinking about (but havent tried) is to set my original back bets to kick in at, say, 2 second intervals. Has anyyone got any bright ideas?
PC going to sleep (or not)
I had similar problems when the monitors went off after 30 minutes. The solution is simple - set the monitors to never go to sleep and remove any screensaverDipstick wrote:I have checked my settings (I am on Windows 11) and the sleep settings are set to "Never" sleep and the screen is set to go off after 20 mins.

As far as I am aware this was only a problem with the old style CRT monitors. I leave my laptop screen on Guardian all day and have not had any problems.won't it then basically burn my screen with the last image - appreciate that this screen changes every day?
You also need to make sure you have guardian switching to the markets in time to run your rules (this also keeps some movement on your screen).
If its not switching to markets and you have the guardian refresh set at say 1 sec and 60 markets loaded into it that means guardian is only looking at each market for 1 sec and triggering rules for that market in that window then it moves onto the next and nothing happens/updated on that market for another 59 secs till it get back round again.

Nope, that problem existed only on CRT monitors as another user already mentioned. My LCD doesn't have any images burned on itDipstick wrote:reply for Andrejt. If I do that, won't it then basically burn my screen with the last image - appreciate that this screen changes every day?
