Hi All,
I am really enjoying using Bet Angel, using Bots that I have downloaded and started to tweek.
I can understand that the Bots can take the emotion out of the decision making.
The question I have is:-
How to work out what Bot is best for the different types of races i.e..
Handicaps, odds on favorite, etc ?
Cheers
Karl
Which bot is best for which type of race !

Hi Karl
The answer to this would reveal an edge. An edge in a market will (hopefully) result in profit. As such, there will be few folk who will say "Ok, do this, that and the other to get a profit" as once that happens, everyone will jump on this bandwagon, the edge will go and along with it, the profit.
By the way, I am far from an experienced pro (only months 3 into using BA for automation purposes) but I'd imagine that would be the way traders work.
Obviously you have great folk like Dallas who supply these bots but it's up to you to find these edges to get your share of the market/profit.
Personally, I'm spending a lot of time running bots on various markets in practise mode until I find myself an edge myself!
So in answer to your question "How to work out what Bot is best for the different types of races i.e.." I suggest spending your time in practise mode, recording results, watching lots of markets and through exporting your profit/losses find out what bots suit which race. Who knows, you may stumbled upon a bot that applies to a large proportion of races.
Good luck!
(And if you do find the answer, pm me, this is driving me mental
