Hi,
After using the guardian on horse racing over the last week it seems that some bets fire and some don't. Today I have been using the dob rules and again some fire and some don't. I haven't changed anything on the rules and my Internet connection is fine.
Could anyone help me and suggest why it might be doing this?
Thanks all
Mike
Guardian misfiring
Ok cheers. That does make more sense.
Today I had all the races loaded in but didn't have a selection in every race so I'm guessing any races where I don't have a selection to remove. My refresh rate is set to 200ms on both the guardian and the main screen and also have it set to switch to the market on the main screen pre race.
As the double or bust rules places the first bets before the off and then greens up inplay am I better using the restricted refresh?

Yes if you know your not running the rule on a particular market and have no intention to trade it its best to get into the habit of removing it.
If your just running one IR rule and not doing any pre-race manual trading therefore dont need to plot graphs of retrieve prices for pre-race i would restrict refresh to 30 secs before start till 900 secs after (15 mins)
That way at worse if races have clashed the one on your desktop is refreshing at 200ms and at most you will only have 2 refreshing in guardian also at 200ms - and nothing been wasted on the others.
I do have some example ways people could set it up based on how/what there trading which ill be adding during next week or so, so its worth checking back then for some idea's
