Yes, I thought so - I was very pleased Evan asked the question why should the bookmaking industry pay horse racing for the right to bet when it doesn't have to with any other sport. I thought the answer was very poor and was stuck in the past.
Likewise, the answer as to why the betting shops should pay a portion of the FOBT's profits to horse racing was also very poor.
Long term those answers imo are not sustainable and valid.
I thought the horseman's group came across very much stuck in the past and showed a distinct lack of foresight.
