Hi Ya Lads
Im back testing a lay thingy
ive found a lay calculator thats perfect because it lays to liability ,BUT,,,it only lays to 6.00 i want to be able to calculate lay odds of up to 10.and adjust the liability as per this calculator.anyone have one ?
also anyone got info on the best laying option,eg,for liabaility,fixed stake,or other options,
or a software or calculator where i can enter the info and it will give me the most profitable option?

Do you have excel or a calculator? The formula is very simple just liability divided by odds minus 1

i.e. in excel

A1=Liability
B1=Odds
Stake=A1/(B1-1)


Payout is probably the other staking option unless you mean staking plans. Payout is actually very useful for making markets but for straightforward backing 'fixed stake' is usually most reliable unless you get into things like Kelly criterion
