Morning
I wonder if someone could help me out please?
Im trying to gather data on UK/Ire Win, horse racing Markets (in Play).

Im looking for the stats on in play under 2's, particularly horses that traded under 2 and lost.

Ideally, the data would display the odds traded (So I could pivot it in excel etc) and also by course too if possible?

I extracted a single weeks of data from betfair.data, but took a couple of hours to format and get to what I was looking for.

I thought if someone has Proform/HorseracingBase or even their owndatabse it would be much appreciated, if you could run this query for me.

Thanks in anticipation
Regards
Peter

Hi Peter,

Isn't that info quite easy to get from:
http://promo.betfair.com/betfairsp/prices/
?

It includes the in-play min and max price and whether the horse won or lost.

Or was it more that you wanted to generate months or years of results and don't have the means of doing it quickly yourself?

Hi James
Yes it was the latter really; being able to see the data over a number of months or a full season
Thanks

Yep, I can help too if you let me know exactly what info you'd like to include.

I've already downloaded and imported a lot of that data into a database, so easy to query for you.

Alternatively if you can be bothered to install MS SQL Server I can send you the whole SP database to query yourself!

Oh ok thanks James, Ill need to get up to speed with SQL (Ill drop you an email separately)
Thanks to Wainwright and Zapata for the data too. very Much appreciated.

Initial thoughts/observations are that it is on a knife edge betting below 2's, you may be able to swing it in you favour by tweaking it etc

A BIG thanks to Xitan for his help with this..and all these years Id been messing about with spreadsheets!

For anyone thinking of setting up and querying an SQL database, check this out at Udemy, id recommend it

https://www.udemy.com/introduction-to-d ... l-querying

Very good course (free) and once you become accustomed to the syntax the commands are intuitive and very powerful too for manipulating data around

Hi Peter

I've only just seen this post - let me know if you need anything, I've got the data going back to 2009 and happy to pull off any queries you may want.
