Automated betting

I have been scalping for a while & thought I could automate the process. While this is working fine betangel keeps firing bets into the market way outside of the preset parameters. I can't seem to find a cure & have checked all my settings. Does anyone have any ideas how I can stop this happening?

I have set the parameters to fire at 1.02 any horse to (Hopefully)scalp the winner. I also set a stop at 2.00. Bets were firing at anything between 2.00-5.00. Ok, I was lucky a couple of times but this is not what I want to do.

Have a look at this thread from the FAQ section which explains how backing at lower odds than the current price works

You be lucky to get a back bet in the market and matched at as the odds drop 1.02 because of the speed in which they fall and your subject to the 1 sec in-play delay when placing a bet.
When you do get one matched you would better off not scalping and going for the 2 ticks profit rather then the 1 tick and laying at 1.01
Also if the odds bounce back up to 2.0 there like to go straight through and out to 1000 as the horse will now be beat so for same reason as above there is little chance of a stop triggering and being matched at these odds
