Is your lifetime P&L according to the PC portal at a loss?
tysm for replying. If it's this link: https://myaccount.betfair.com/activity/premium-charges
Then i do not have access to the portal (page says 'not found')
OK, so you wont qualify for Expert Fee.

The new portal will show you all the details and any buffer you have built up. So it will tell you want you need to do to qualify.

The pc page has been randomly going 404 for a week. So 8bo may or not qualify but will find out soon enough when the new portal goes live.

When exactly is expert fee starting to be the subject for charge? For example, next monday, date 6.1.2025, is it premium charge or expert fee that we will be charged?

I think Betfair should pay a PC rebate to those accounts with a buffer at the end of this week.

I would assume any current buffer carries forward into the new system?

So are we already in the first week of this? Some confusion out there whether the first EF payment is to be taken on the 6th Jan based on this week's activity, or 13th Jan based on next week being the first week.

That's what I thought, but apparently BF CS are telling PC customers that tomorrow will be the last PC to be taken. :|

BF CS have just told me new structure starts on 6th with first EF payment taken on 13th.

They seemed to know what they are talking about so I'm inclined to believe this to be correct.

Mon 6th Jan, 1st week of activity for the EF

Mon 13th Jan, New debits applied

So this is the last week of PC

has there been any change or update to the basic rates of commission or will they still offer 2%, 5% and 8% options with the differing 'rewards'?

No change to base rates, but the implied commission calculation now uses 2.5% instead of 3%

Thanks Peter - why would anyone now wish to stay on anything above the 2% commission base rate?

Previously by paying a higher commission base rate before the weekly premium rate charge, you could help lower your potential higher rate premium charge (if you weren't already at £250k lifetime profit), but now that won't be the case, so everyone should choose the 2% base rate.
