Then Asked Why are people attacking local businesses in their own communities ?

"Cause dere rich innit? We're showin da police and da rich people dat we can what we want innit?"

sums it up really, thick, clueless, morons

i saw that interview and it is quite disconcerting really. these are 17 years old. thick as shit.

what happens when all this current aggro dies away?

these people still will exist, and they will breed or self replicate themselfs.

what does this country do with them, what are we suppossed to do with them?

what are they for?

what purpose (useful) will they be to themselfs, let loan the greater world/society.

True, but it's hard to see what the solution is...

You could stop paying child benefit after they have had so many children, but let's face it, that's never going to happen in the current political climate...

So for the foreseeable, our taxes will pay child benefit for their litter, and we'll continue paying for said litter when they grow up and end up in prison or on the dole...

Just on seen on Sky the news lady interviewing a hip-hop DJ who was making excuses for the trouble. She said, "but this is Ealing, there are million pound houses just up the road"!!!

Maybe the liberal middle classes will wake up at some point.

I'm very much a right-winger on many things, but not all. When you create a society with an ever-increasing divide between the richest and poorest you can't then complain when things go bad.

I was a kid in the 70s when I honestly think that the real quality of life for the average person was way higher than it is now. The average man earned enough to be able to afford somewhere to live and to support his wife and family. Not much material wealth for most, but it wasn't important then.

Now we have over population and massive social problems caused largely by mass immigration and liberal social policies (was corporal punishment really such a big deal?). These days the average person has to become a debt slave just to afford shelter.

There are no easy solutions, I fear it is beyond politicians now.

My solution would be to forget about economic growth and share prices and house prices and concentrate on building a country that produces far more of what it consumes. Start a massive infrastructure and (quality) house building program, doing everything possible to support manufacturing to create more factories and more employment. Get rid of the nanny state and get tough standards in schools. End ALL immigration and deport every single illegal immigrant. There's loads more I'd do but it's a waste of time cos it aint never gonna happen!

This is an interesting interview, I think education is a big part of the issue TBH. If you don't invest in the younger generation you end up with stuff like this: -

I think the Criminals and Law Breakers need tougher laws and more prisons. As someone said: Our liberty ends where the liberty of others begins. The government should invest in education and tv propaganda. There's a lot of rubbish on tv nowdays.

It reminds me of a essay:
"The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints; we spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy it less .." full version:

and the paradox of bf pc should be added here

I have my tweetdeck on and have hashtagged #coventry and #coventry riots. There are loads of rumours about riots tonight. They are boarding up shops ready.

Isn't this encouraging trouble?

I am sick of these do gooders coming on tv saying how hard done to the youth are. When my Grandfather was in his teens he was watching his chums being butchered by the Japanese in the war.
There are Millions of children in the world starving to death.
Britain is a safe haven. You are born and straight away you get Free healthcare, Free education, no job? No problem have some cash, no home? No problem have a house/flat. never want to contribute anything in your life but just take? No problem... Britain will provide it.

I want to see soldiers on the streets and see some of these c***s shot.

That's what happens when you create a dependency culture. The welfare state got out of hand years ago.

I agree that a few rubber bullets wouldn't go amiss this evening - they've been warned, it's now time to stamp on this aggressively.

Edit: 'not sure if you meant rubber ones or not!

Anyone get the feeling the media have been gagged somewhat tonight, there is clearly alot going on, but knowone is reporting it, no sky helicopter or anything buzzing about like last night :?

Probably wasn't helping the situation really when you think about it.

I think social networking means you wouldn't be able to keep a lid on any disturbances for long...
