The lockdown seems to be very badly handled IMO, if there was 24 hours warning then people that are fortunate enough to have a second home could have been able to decide which home that they are going to stay in from then on out. I wouldn't judge someone for visiting a second home once as soon as it was announced because you never know if they have something to sort out like hide their valuables at a time when it is more likely to be robbed, or turn off the water for home insurance purposes etc. There have been many others visiting second homes or even staying at Air BnBs during the lockdown

I wouldn't judge anybody without hearing their response to allegations but she actually spent two weekends over there and her response was that it was "human error"! Forgetting to switch the cooker off is a human error.

I hope he pulls through. Not sure what the situation is with his pregnant girlfriend who was also ill but it must be hard for her and unable to visit.

Just heard it's precautionary in case he needs a ventilator. I hope people will at least pay more attention to his desperate plea to stay at home.

A doctor on Sky News just said that the hospitals don't give up intensive care beds as a precaution! It is to some extent understandable though, that No. 10 are reluctant to give information.

Outside of my own mother being infected with this virus, the scariest part for me is that when this is all over, there will still be people out there who will argue that it wasn't that big of a deal in the first place.

I lost my parents before I was 45.
But I have a relative in her late eighties who has suffered with emphysema for most of her adult life.
She's managed it and taken care of herself.
But this this could sweep her away in an instant.
I also have 2 other relatives with congenital asthma and friends in the vulnerable age group.
I think all of us who care about this from the human aspect are hoping the Italy and Spain dip in fatalities is an indicator of something more positive.
I might even pray...... well ok thats a step too far without genuine faith.

When I look at the USA on this dashboard I can't help but think to myself that Trump's border wall did a fine job for the Mexicans.

I'm not sure that the Mexicans are bothering/able to test or record C19 deaths they have other things to worry about.

Officially 28 dead from C19 in March, Officially 2585 homicides in March

They have some serious anger issues.

The Mexicans are angry that Trump never finished that wall.

If a ventilator is required, and pneumonia likely to set in, these stats become more relevant. (also if on a ventilator for more than 3 days = bad sign)
